Getting married is already a nerve-wracking experience but throw in some unpredictable weather and you've got yourself a real wild card. Especially when you consider the weather we had recently.
Just when you thought you had everything meticulously planned out to a tee, Mother Nature decides to show up uninvited with her bag of tricks. Unpredictable weather on your wedding day - every couple's nightmare turned reality!
But fear not, for true love conquers all, even unexpected thunderstorms, torrential downpours, gusty winds or blazing hot sunshine. Some cultures believe that rain on your wedding day symbolizes fertility and cleansing - so hey, you're already off to a good start!
Plus, think of all the cute photo ops with umbrellas and welly boots. And let's not forget about the romantic symbolism of "weathering the storm together."
This is what happened the lovely H &N last year February. Planning a wedding in Febuary in Cornwall is no guarantee for good weather anyway, but H&N did not anticipate the torrential weather on their big day. But they took it in their stride, and they made the most out of the weather conditions on the day.
They had a backup plan; they relocate the group photos and the confetti throw indoors and they invested in cute umbrellas on the day.

They Embraced the chaos, with a sense of humour and flexibility, they rolled with the punches, and remembered that at the end of the day, it's not about the forecast or the fancy decorations - it's about celebrating their love with those who mean the most to them!!!!!
Just remember some of the most memorable weddings are the ones where things didn't go exactly as planned. So, kick off those heels, embrace the elements, and dance into married life with joy and fun no matter what Mother Nature throws at you. Embrace the unexpected and make the most of it.
After all, they say that rain brings good luck, so consider it a blessing in disguise. And who knows, maybe the rain will add a touch of magic to your wedding day that you never could have imagined. In some cultures rain on your wedding day symbolises cleansing, regrowth and rain washes any sadness away.

Dance in the rain, laugh with your loved ones, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Grab an umbrella or a fan and embrace the elements, and let's make this wedding one for the books - rain or shine!
As an independent wedding celebrant, I will weather any storm or heatwave with you, and I will not abandon you and your guests on your special day.
Your wedding is the only wedding in my diary on the day and I will stay with you whatever the weather.
Enjoy the day and love each other,
